Original Photos

This appears to be a photo of NCOs receiving their pay. An Officer oversees matters.

The cream of the wehrmacht! Note the motley assortment of clothing including 'tank top', leather belt

and house slippers!

A squad takes a break from training with their veteran Unteroffizier. These could well be pioniers due to the

dark soutache on the NCO's feldmutze and around some of the shoulderboards.

Another squad training. Does anyone know what the rifles are? I thought they were Gewehr 98s,

but look at the one one the right hand end.

Troops posing with a field telephone.

These four photos are dated June 1941. Whilst the Wehrmacht was busy invading the Soviet Union

these NCOs were obviously busy honing their equestrian skills!

A very early picture of Panzertruppen posing with a truck. Note the lack of eagle and swastikas

on their berets and wraps.

A group of panzer NCOs with an Officer. The man on the left is sitting on a Panzer 2. Off to the right

behind the group is a Panzer 1.

Panzertruppen in barracks.

A Panzer 4 with a short barrelled 75mm gun. Probably in France 1940. Note the line of crosses

in the field to the right.

A reconnaissance unit takes a roadside break. Note the Sdkfz 232 with radio aerial and the crewman wearing

Panzer black uniform and beret.
